The Allman Brothers Band at the Greek Theater (somewhat small venue for L.A.) in Pasadena, CA in the late 80's/early 90's. This was when Dicky Betts was still in the band. I never understood why Greg Allman kicked him out of the band other than Dicky was probably more popular with the fans than Greg was. A close second would be The Who at the L.A. Coliseum in 1982 or 83. They were Gods to me back then and they did not disappoint. They still cared abut how they sounded back then.
