Soccer bores me to tears. I just can’t get into it, no matter how much ive tried. I played it since kindergarten through senior year of high school and I loved it, but as far as watching World Cup or any other game, it’s just the most boring thing ever. It only slightly beats hockey on the boredom scale for me. I understand why people like it, but it’s just not my jam. Focus: What are a lot of people into that you aren’t? Alt Focus: What are you into that not many people are? Also, not sure why I feel compelled to say it, but no butthurt and no politics.
The facial finish. It's just not hot. At all. I seriously wonder if people are just into this because they see it in porn. Rap music. Well, there's at least a few songs I can tolerate, I suppose. As far as some guy rapping about what an idiot he is, how he associates with retarded thugs, every woman is ho, and so on. It's just so mind numbingly stupid. Don't think I'll ever get it. Those tiny yip yip dogs that bark all the time. They have to be somewhat popular because there's so many of them. They should all be punted for constantly acting like they're going to start shit.
I fail to see why modern hip-hop constantly dominates the Billboard chart because it’s drab, monotoned, stagnant and it sucks. I goes seemingly out of its way to subtract all rhythm, give zero dance appeal and no effort in production. “Psycho“ is the number one song and it could put a meth addict to sleep. The fact Drake is the most popular music artist is appalling. My orthodontist’s voice was more exciting than his songs. It’s not just rappers who are stupid, their fans are too now. They picked the wrong decade to become fans of the music. Smartphone games. Fortnite, Angry Birds, Candy Crush.....people go into clinical depression from getting addicted to these games and I don’t even find them amusing.
I agree with everything you said and would like to add, in furtherance of your point, the the worst thing to come out of houston (and that's saying a lot): "chopped and screwed" This bullshit was like Harvey but if everyone was dancing in the disease-infested waters that swamped them. You could not go anywhere without hearing some bullshit song made worse by another faux rapper "chopping" it and "screwing" it. Yes, that sounds like a sex act, and hopefully everyone involved with this melodic abortion gets hate fucked. An example of what I mean.
Professional sports in general. I can watch a football game with the in laws on Thanksgiving now and then but still without any sense of investment. Who has time to sit around watching sports all day? People who know the players names, their stats, and all that? I don't get it.
Fortnight. This has got to be the stupidest, most pointless fucking game in the world and my 13 year old is hooked on it. I have yet to understand the objective or the appeal.
I dont get it either. I tried playing it, but it seems so stupid and disjointed, and I love gaming. Im a fan of PUBG because of the simplicity. Its odd that were at a stage where one generation of gamers doesnt understand the preferences of a younger one.
Depends on the "reality" of the show. I quite enjoy watching some BBC reality shows that follow their sherrifs and cops... like "The Sherrifs Are Coming", or Police on Patrol, etc. Same goes for Live PD... totally addicted. Used to like Cops, but now Live PD is like cops on every known steroid known to man and a few that aren't... totally addicting. I also like Deadliest Catch. But mostly though, my viewing has switched over to YouTube to watch daily/weekly updates of real people doing real things. I get where you're coming from, though... the vast majority of reality shows are anything other than cheap and easy to produce without any talent and I can't stand them.
It was ok for awhile. There were a limited number of items and the weapon balancing had some minor issues, but it was a fun battle royale. Sadly it didn't take long until they just kept spamming the game with more and more stupid shit. By the time I quit there was 1-2 news guns, 1-2 heal items, a new grenade, 4 outfits, plus a couple other random items just for the fuck of it that came out every week. With a little tweaking from what they started off with it probably could have been a really good game. Instead they just chose to spam it with more and more crap detrimental to the game to keep the players invested. Maybe it's because it's a free game, but they clearly went the route where they wanted to appeal to pre-teen/early teen gamers.
Those shows do sound better than a few I had in my head, but they still do not interest me. I could probably get into a show if someone else was watching it with me but the clips, trailers, and promos for the shows do not compel me to watch them. Different Strokes for different folks, I guess. I agree with you that there are some YouTube channels that are fascinating. I like the style of them, a lot of them are more about showing the world how somebody does something in their life on a day-to-day basis. I have fallen down the rabbit hole hard for stuff about Hydroponics and urban farming. I did not grow up with cable so I had limited television growing up. I am more likely to go sit in front of the computer and play a game then to sit in front of the TV. Focus: tattoos. Don't have any, probably won't ever get any. I have never seen a tattoo or image that made me say to myself "yeah, I want to see that in the mirror every day."
Focus: Country music. I like to think that I have a pretty diverse palette when it comes to music, and I've tried to listen to the country music people on this board and elsewhere have recommended and find some appeal to it. I can't. Country music gets under my skin and just annoys me in a way that no other form of music does.
That’s generally why I like PUBG, the devs don’t add stuff very frequently, many think it’s too infrequent. Plus the barrier to entry of $30 is worth it to keep the masses out. That’s why I didn’t like DOTA 2 after a while. Far too many idiots.
Yeah one of my sets of friends are big into it and it’s always lame when they only play it. Both my brothers are semi into country because the genre attracts so many hot women. I get the idea as there are a ton but the music is just so far from what I enjoy I just can’t handle it.
