The superdelegates simply vote who the DNC orders them to vote for. Their existence is possibly the dumbest thing about your voting system.
Thats almost any voting system that has a democratic process. Most countries dont allow their voters to have a say in party nominees, the party leaders decide that. The superdelegates are the DNC, its made up of a lot of party officials. So you have a committee that says its dedicated about finding the right candidate through the primary process, but then you have 20% of the delegates that, as a matter of design, can essentially pull the ripcord on any candidate they dont like regardless of the primary outcome.
Buttigieg declares victory in Iowa with no results, so I’m guessing there’s not a lot of minorities in Iowa. With screwups galore already, I can see why you guys hate caucus. What a mess.
I thought this headline was funny. Regardless of her religious beliefs...has this woman been watching any type of fucking news this past year? https://www.mediaite.com/news/watch...nct-capt-after-finding-out-mayor-pete-is-gay/
It's pretty dumb, but at least we elect our head of state directly. I find it so strange that that issue seems to hardly come up in places like the UK and Canada.
So the results should be out soon. In precinct 80 they decided how to award a delegate between Sanders and Buttigieg by flipping a coin. Actually, that wasn't just precinct 80. They do that quite a bit. Oh man...
LOL Biden is just whooping that ass with an impressive “zero” so far, ready to leave these twerps in the dust any second now.
The state of the union is we're flipping coins to award delegates and we're so fucking stupid they've still only reported 62% of the coin flips. Was there a speech too or something?
What does everyone think of what Pelosi did? Of course my hard RT friends want her burned at the stake and my hard LT friends want to give her the keys to the kingdom. What do you think the moderates feel? What does a Rep who doesn't like Trump and thinks about voting Dem think? What about a Dem who doesn't like Trump but doesn't want Bernie either? Are they drawn to that or pushed away? I can't see how it helped except give mega raging boners to the people who already hate Trump.
