Dayum. Guy who was shot was US citizen with a legal concealed carry, and he had surrendered his weapon before being shot. Sounds like one ICE guy said "he's got a gun", and then took hit from him and walked off with it, when another ICE dude shot him in the back, which caused the others to kick off. Fucking hell. Walz has now spun up the National Guard to deal with ICE. I don't know what "deal with" means, and I'm almost afraid to ask.
We’re not sure exactly what the guard is going to be doing yet, are we? Crowd control and protecting federal buildings maybe? It’s really hard to feel hopeful about anything these days
My initial understanding is that they are going to be used to keep protesters away from ICE, so that ICE can't interact with protesters. I was kind of hoping that they'd actually herd the ICE agents. That'd be fun to watch.

I noticed in the videos today that ICE vehicles were parked in the middle of the road impeding traffic. I thought the previous shooting was over impeding ICE traffic. So what the hell, does the laws of the road only pertain to regular drivers?

Just thinking, anybody who legally owns a gun that came with the bare minimum accessories, and has one box of ammo, is now according to Bovino and Noem “intent on inflicting maximum damage.”
