I think Spanberger will win. I think Sears just doesn't come across as effective or likable to anyone but hard-core MAGA. Spanberger's support for Jones is why she's not polling better. I think AG will come down to who voters are willing to hold their nose for as they vote. Jones will get votes from the "anyone not a republican crowd." I think in the end it'll come down to how well Jones convinces voters Miyares is a hardcore Trump supporting member of MAGA. That's essentially been his whole campaign since his text messages became public.
I agree. Spanberger should have immediately distanced herself from Jay Jones, and maybe the race between her and Sears wouldn't have even been close. I'm literally one of the people in the middle, that either side has to earn my vote. Through their behavior, past and present, and how they align with what I think is best for this country. Democrats basically swept. Took G, LtG, AG, and a huge legislative majority in VA. Retained in PA, took G in NJ, defeated Prop 1 in ME, flipped the public service commission seats in GA. Only big one left is Prop 50 in CA, which they haven't started reporting results for yet.
