I’m not proud of my first reaction, as I try to wait for as much info as possible…but I could totally see Trump deeming Charlie Kirk the most expendable for a false flag operation

And a usually elderly shooter, apparently. Who was there for hours talking to people before it began according to a witness.

I saw an article describe it as he got shot and reached up to his neck. I am not going to watch it again, but I didn’t see any reaching up.

A source saying “critical condition” and “doctors are working on him.”

 

Def didn't reach. He slumps pretty much immediately, and one arm kinda goes up a bit but it's not a conscious movement.

Trump has tweeted that he's dead. Amazing to be living in a country where the sitting President tweeting out that someone has died means... nothing. Trump is less reliable than most randos on Twitter.

 

Reporting that the elderly man wasn’t the shooter, which makes sense now that they’re saying it was from 200 yards away.

and he was answering a question about gun violence. So…specific accomplice asks question to signal the shooter?

 

I don't care what anyone says, that is textbook irony right there.

Nah. Shooter was just waiting for whichever statement would be funniest to immediately shoot after.

 

I know we’re assholes here…but my overall feeling is just…dread. And a little bit of guilt, because I look at my kid and hope I can help get him through this world.

 

So, what do y'all think the odds are that the "shooter" is "apprehended" within the next 24-hours, and it turns out to be a trans-immigrant wearing and "I (heart) Biden" T-shirt, and a manifesto explaining how they rigged the 2020 election?
