    I went to one of the worst "restaurants" of my life in Cave City, KY because my friend thought it looked kitschy or something. The Cracker Barrel we ate at the following morning felt like a michelin star dining experience. The waitress looked clean and brought us refills on coffee. Our food came out at the same time and was edible. It was beautiful.

    In other news, the University of Michigan is led by cowards and caved to federal pressure and stopped providing gender affirming care to anyone under the age of 19. Our office is getting swamped with calls from terrified parents of trans teenagers who are afraid for their mental health if they lose access to care and hormones. So that's the chapter of dystopian hellscape I'm on this week.
