That's the obvious play. What gets me is members of the public thinking it's worth talking to her at all in the first place.

1. She has an ironclad 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination, so she doesn't have to say anything. This isn't a case where they can subpoena her and get info; she will only give what she wants to give.
2. She has a conviction and an open appeal, so she will only ever give information if it benefits her legally.
3. The only people who can benefit her legally are the feds (DOJ, Trump, etc).
4. She can't testify against anyone higher up than her, because the only person higher up than her is dead.
5. Her testimony is worthless in court anyway, due to her history of lying to the courts.
6. The only thing Trump cares about is exonerating himself.

So we're in a situation where a known liar will only say things that the feds want her to say, and the feds only have any interest in hearing exonerations of Trump. The lies practically write themselves.

 

Let's see if they say "She's actually the victim in all of this!"

I don’t have paramount so I didn’t see the episode, but I saw that AI video. And it’s a prime example of how Trump’s anger about something makes it sound worse than it really is.

 

Trump got caught on video cheating at golf. It's simultaneously utterly irrelevant, and yet massively infuriating. That we are represented to the world by this absolutely pathetic piece of shit.

 

Trump has a reputation for cheating at golf for 30+ years.

I'm not saying it like it's a good thing, but everyone knows that Trump cheats... On everything. Golf, his wives, business deals, etc.

But some people still love him more than their own family members.
