    Stuck inside on a prime going out night writing a paper for class due tomorrow at midnight. Trying to slog through at least 4000 words of this thing tonight so I can write the other 2000 tomorrow between work and (hopefully) going out. Gonna be a fun night for sure. Buuuuut, I've got a system set up. Every time I finish a page (roughly 500 words single spaced), I get another 1/4 pour of my bottle of wine. Pretty good incentive, right? And when I'm on my last page, I get a Makers on the rocks.

    I'm about to kick some scholarly ass.

    Know what this thread needs? An indepth discussion of pregnancy, childbirthing, and childrearing. A day without hearing a late 20-something unmarried female's biological clock ticking is like a day without orange juice. What's this, 4 of your closest girlfriends are all pregnant and their due dates are one month apart from each other? I can barely hear the unbridled jealousy and envy in your voice. No, don't mind me - I'd just love to hear about how each of them carry their baby weight differently, which of them had to buy new shoes, which of them had to stop wearing shoes altogether, which of them are "big ol' fat pregnant ladies" and which of them you wouldn't know they were pregnant if you saw them from behind.

    Just fucking thrilling, every second of it.

    Well, many women feel that motherhood is a huge part of being a woman. It's a status symbol, like being married or living on your own.

    It is way stupid to choose being a mother too soon, as it is far more work than you could ever imagine.

    Rat terrier would probably drink a vodka martini. She's smart, on a diet, a bit subdued, and wants to act crazy (gin martini/real martini) but doesn't always have the balls to do it.

    Toy Chihuahua (the wife's) would drink a Zima with a jolly rancher. Despite her years, she's really fucking stupid, like an under-ager. She weighs about four pounds, or approximately the weight of your average high schooler. She's also a skank, in that she falls instantly in love with every male dog she meets.

    Rescue dog, a lab/german shepherd mix, would drink JD and coke. She's hyper as shit, strong as hell, and goes from "sweet" to "crazy" in about 45 seconds flat.

    Meanwhile, I'll sit back drinking a gin martini, hold the vermouth, my wife sipping wine, while I call all of them "fucking mutts" and she pledges allegiance to the animal shelter.

    Any one have a recommendation for a good set of mid-price-range headphones? Preferably over-the-ear, in the $50-$120 range. Was thinking about these or these. I don't want to spend too much, because I doubt that I have either the ear or high enough quality audio files to justify anything extremely pricey like Beats by Dre. Also was thinking about getting these too.
