Re: Thursday Drunk Thread, 'Cause I Do What I Want! 5/17/12 Heading to beautiful Cleveland for a wedding this weekend. It actually should be really fun, if not the greatest of settings. I'm mostly just glad I have a built in excuse to get out of Chicago while all the idiot unwashed hippies are overrunning my city protesting NATO. Meanwhile, my hip misalignment has become the biggest nuisance ever. I'm sure its minor and its really just enough that I feel like my legs are different lengths when I'm walking, but my mild hypochondria has exacerbated it to the point where I feel like my whole body is tilted to the side and it feels weird just sitting. Anyone have experience going to a chiropractor for such stuff? I'm just worried I'm gonna get sucked into some long term treatment plan when really I just want to go back to feeling normal while I walk.

I still find it oddly amusing that bars will basically give away their beer for a dollar based solely on an arbitrary day and time. Re: Thursday Drunk Thread, 'Cause I Do What I Want! 5/17/12 Saturday we're going to the KC Zoo for my niece's 2nd birthday. The high is 85 so we'll see how E (who will be 8 months old Saturday! Where did the time go?) does in the heat. I have a feeling we'll end up spending most of the day in the shade or a cool building. My sister is back together with her ex and his mom is coming and she and my mom do not get along. It might be a recipe for disaster. E and I may have to wander off away from the group. Sunday is my cousin's son's 1st birthday party. This would be the third 1st birthday party in three weekends, thank God this should be the last one! As much fun as it is to watch kids get cake and icing all over themselves, three weeks in a row is a little much for me.

Usually it's bitter rain, or sometimes-- when I'm camping-- snow. But this isn't. It will be nice, so I am landscaping and smoking and drinking this weekend.
