Use Frostwire, it doesn't use Gnutella anymore and is now basically a portal for torrent sites. Take proper precautions (PeerGuardian) and maybe even use a proxy if you can and you'll be fine.

Im not too up to date with torrents. Im trying to download one right now and it has stalled on 50.1 percent. It seems that all of the other very few peers have only this same amount as well, all the same packets/files. Is there no hope I can find a complete version of busty college coeds #3? Share ratio issues or uploading speeds issues help connect to people with the rest of the file? Shit out of luck?

Anybody know an alternative to PeerGuardian? It doesn't work with Vista 64 and I don't want to use a torrent site that is new to me without it up and running.

Peer Block - Peer Guardian is legacy code now.

    <a class="postlink" href="http://www.peerblock.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.peerblock.com/</a>

Does anyone know what happened to Leecher's Lair? I haven't downloaded anything for a few months I guess, and when I went to my bookmark for the site, it comes up as not found. And I can't find anything about a new site address or anything. Not sure if it buckled or just moved.

What sites are you guys using for downloads these days? I used to use BT Junkie, but they shut down a few months ago.

I'm primarily looking for TV, movies and music, but anything will work.

I download a lot of IT training material off of a couple of education type invitation only sites and have good ratios there if invites are a possibility.

    Thanks!

    Tv - tvtorrents.com
    Music - what.cd
Movies - depends on what format you're looking for.

Is anyone familiar with Express Files? A co-worker told me about this and it sounds pretty good. You use the program’s search engine to find and download whatever you want. It reminds me of Kazaa, but I don’t think it’s peer to peer.

Is anyone using anything better than tvtorrents for TV? I find TVTorrents stumbles a bit over some things, so maybe one with a more focus on obscure? Or just another vast catagory.

I also don't really have a PC software/games tracker if anyone knows one / has invites to one that'd be great

I have invites to what.cd I think, and def have invites to Waffles, a movie tracker, and Karagarga if you need an invite in return

I have bitmetv but it's a hard site to keep a ratio on. Invites are available if wanted.

eztv.it is the one I use and it's pretty good. It's more of an aggregator than a tracker, but it's not private so no ratio worries, has a calendar for most shows etc. The torrents are served up as either magnet links or in the form of direct links to other sites like thepiratebay.se.

    I use put.io

10 bucks a month, direct downloads with no cap, no ratio or P2P to worry about.

Thanks, but I need something with a metric shit-ton of Ebooks. I checked out Mobilism, and found nothing I could use. Any other sites worth checking out?

I've had some success with torrents but the quality can sometimes be a bit sketchy but the majority of the time it's perfectly readable.

Anyone know of a good ebook server for textbooks? There was a sight back in about 08 that specialized in it, students scanning their textbooks and uploading the PDFs, but I think it has been shuddered. Id love to find some good text books on various topics.
