    There was a version of the story I saw on one of the ABC affiliates, and it closed with something like "Uber has indicated the man will no longer be able to utilize their app." Uh, you fucking think?

    You think they'd do whatever they could to help bring criminal charges against the guy to help set a precedent in order to help safeguard their drivers... but hey, at least he's not allowed to use their app any more.

    at that point wouldn't you just taser him? I know it's an escalation of force (potentially deadly, as tasers do kill), but getting bodily fluids on someone can also be deadly.
