Focus: What crazy shit have your parents or parents-in-law done? Alt. Focus: Should bewildered's mom set up an account at TiB so Now Slappy can PM her?
This is true: My dad met my mom while street racing her boyfriend in a ‘70 charger. He crashed and landed in the second floor of a store plaza. They were engaged after six weeks and are still together.
Meanwhile my mother in law just (drunk? I hope) text me that "those magnesium supplements you took for your shoulder helped me shit! First time in six days!" There's a bottle of wine or two with my name on it.
My Mom recruited me and some of friends to help her move. As one of my friends and I carried her mattress out to the truck, my other friend found her box of sex toys she kept under the bed. Who has two thumbs and is scarred for life? This guy.
My parents and mother-in-law are pretty tame. My father-in-law spent about 10 years in jail (overall) for racketeering when he was involved in organized crime. Anyone who thinks there is something glamorous or exciting about the mob is an idiot. It ruins lives and had a significant impact on my wife’s family.
My mother is crazy. Not wackyzanyhilariousshenanigans crazy- mentally ill crazy. She’s been institutionalized at least 3 times. It can be difficult to find humor in most of what she does but calling people to express her condolences that their parent has died, when they in fact were still alive and healthy, was pretty funny after the fact. And that time she sent a check to my sister with a long letter saying congratulations and she wished she had been invited to the wedding - that was mildly entertaining, as there was no wedding and my sister has never been married. Yeah, fun times
I would but I don't want my sister to stick an icepick in my eye. So instead I tell her my sister is pregnant.
On their first movie date my dad took my mom to see Clockwork Orange. He also apperantly brought a whole bunch of whippets to my aunts first wedding so everyone could huff nitrous at the reception.
Lol do we have the same parents? My dad took my mom to a double feature of Clockwork Orange and The Shining on their first date.
