She is not showing any symptoms at all. She did, however cancel my appointment until I can provide a negative Covid test, which really, really sucks. I figured she would, she's very cautious. I had to provide proof of vaccination in the first place.
LOL Ricky Schroeder Simply being an anti-vaxxer ought to be embarrassing enough on its own. The way this goofy has-been and his fool friends advertise it... they are just begging to be made an example of.
I have heard that the Pfeizer vaccine is ~4x less effective against delta, but I can't produce evidence to support that.

Looks great to me! In other news, I get to take my mom to get her second dose tomorrow morning, I should be in line for my second does in 2 weeks. Pretty happy with how things are going... I have to say everyone's mental state seems to be on the way up as a result. I'm really looking forward to going out for a nice dinner without any of the fear.
Congrats. Canada has done really well after getting off to a slow start. I wish they had some numbers on Moderna, but I think it will be similar to Phizer. We'll see.
My second shot is scheduled for Friday at 3.10. 2 of the guys that got there second moderna shot got absolutely wrecked for a day. Lets hope i am functional on Saturday.
second shot for me is tomorrow. I got messed up the day following my first one, I’m anticipating getting wrecked by this one as well. But I don’t really care, because it’s a very small price to pay for the reward of never going through that absolute hell again
I am now vaxxed to the max. I got Moderna this time. Nothing so far— I can’t even find my injection site because there’s no soreness to it. Besides the ability to cook food with my eyes by staring at it from across the room, no symptoms. I am piling the Advil on just in case because my first shot made me feel like microwaved ass sweat the next day.
My mom had some pretty intense swelling and heat around her nose and knees... crazy. Bit of a fever, and had issues eating (keeping food down). She's off in bed now and sleeping it off. All in all I think it's a normal reaction so far... moderate, but not severe.
I wouldn’t worry. I’m not the “getting sick” type, and 24 hours after getting it my first shot (which was AZ) made me feel the worst I had felt in at least five years. My temperature pinballed around, I had horrible chills, sweats and shakes. It SUCKED. Then I was fine next day like it never happened. I think your mom will wake up feeling much better.
I'm not worried at all... I think this is an absolutely normal reaction. She was quite surprised, and didn't get the whole "second dose" reaction behaviour, but it's all good. "It means it's working".
