I like the maps the most out of any game. It's no longer "Map, choke point one, choke point two, choke point three." There is a ton of variation to the maps, lots of outer map stalking you can do, more verticality, and a huge need to check corners more than ever before.
I agree, I like the maps. They're pretty darn big. My only issue would be now that I'm online with Squads, I notice it can take forever at some points to even run into an enemy. I also notice that the servers seem really glitchy to me so far, not a game goes by and it 'freezes' for a second. Weird, didn't notice this much glitchiness with BO or BO II.
I don't know what it was this weekend but I was doing really fucking well. Maybe the children were busy visiting grandma, or some of them haven't even gotten to Ghost's yet. MSBS, Muzzle Break with Holographic. Pretty much 3 round burst kills. Also the new IED in as opposed to the claymore is fucking love. I didn't experience any lag or any server problems. The one thing I've noticed more than not is that I'm frequently on teams down a man. I feel like the previous CODs filled those wholes quickly, but there'd be times my team is getting fucked and I'm like "What is going on" and I look and its 5v6, and it stays that way longer than it should. At the same time though, there is much less of getting dropped into losing games that end 20 seconds after connecting. Maybe double edged sword.
I just can't bring myself to buy a copy, much less a PS4, I haven't played a game in forever, shit I am home sick today and can't find the time to play. Sad.
Have it on Xbox One. I'm pretty bad at shooters in general, so if I have a 1:1 ratio, I'm feeling good. I'm a big fan of the Honey Badger with a red dot sight and wandering around by myself.
Finally had a full game of extinction, that shit is fun as hell. Its just goddamn impossible for some reason to get 4 people, and completely impossible to get 4 people with mics for the sake of the challenges.
I'm still terrible at this game. I seem to be hitting 1:1 more regularity, but then I'll completely shit the bed and go 5-13 or something. Is it really just a matter or learning every nook and cranny of a map? My playstyle? Build? Bleh. I'm not the type that runs around and I try to be careful entering/exiting rooms but it feels like people are constantly getting the drop on me. I always seem to be looking at one exit only to be killed when someone shoots me from the other. I typically use a Remington with a VMR and a foregrip, and perk up. I don't use a sidearm or grenades because I literally have never used any of those things. I generally use some combination of Quickdraw, Focus, SitRep, Hardline, and Ping. What should I be doing to be sucking less?
Well learn to fucking use your sidearm and grenades. Its quicker to change to your pistol than to reload. Also, grenades can be good to check corners. There are only a few Perks that really keep you alive if you have the basics right. Quickdraw and Stalker are the top ones I like. Also, anything to stay off the grid is good to. Like "Off the Grid"

i don't know if i can do it anymore. not having anyone to play with really makes it a dull experience after awhile. i've barely played ghosts as much as i've wanted to. i randomly found two guys to play extinction with (which is really fun btw), but in terms of going in on all the modes, not so much. i think mw3 was the last time everyone from the board was playing.
My wife purchased a 12 month Xbox live gift card, for me, since AT&T decided to pump in their DSL with the sunlight, and I have started playing COD Black Ops 2. I've figured out most of the moves and whatnot but I cannot figure out how I die so damn much when I usually get off a round or two first. My AT&T connection speed is 12 mbps down and I think 1 or 1.5 up. Is that my problem?
