just ran across a newish reality show on the weather channel called catching hell.

it's like the special olympics of spear fishing.

it seems like they tried to do the deadliest catch treatment to commercial spear fishing off the florida shores, but all they've done is produce an aquatic train wreck.

    anyone else watching this?

when you have an average iq of 70, like the cast on the show, you're your own biggest threat.

i'm not a scuba diver, so maybe i'm just ignorant, but how the fuck do you run out of air? isn't your air supply something that you're constantly keeping track of while you're diving? i can see how people cut it close when they're doing repairs on rigs and stuff like that, but while spear fishing? after you've done it a few times you'd think you'd know about how much time you have by looking at your gauge.
