I wonder why... could it be moving an incredibly serious bad guy, like a drug cartel leader, who might have their own air force that could break him out?

    Bomb/terrorist threat?

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ten days though? Are they using it as a FOB for Operation “Forget about Epstein, Let’s Fuck Up the Cartels?”

Maybe that snowboarder gave them some solid info.

To be clear, that was a real FAA NOTAM that said it was closed.

    Reporting was factual.

    Can confirm.

Official reason was "mexican cartel drones" with no detail as to how many drones, what they did to ground the entire metro area or jow they were identified as pertaining to a mexican cartel.

The Fort Worth area is home to the largest US military base.

This is completely unprecedented and astounding on so many levels. It was originally suppposed to last 10 days....

Could be a case of "anything flying is a target" so they didn't want to drop a Jet Blue commuter in the process.

    It was factual.

I was making the “oh shit we got caught closing an entire shitload of airspace because people pay attention, blame it on the cartels” joke.
