    I never even bought any EA stock directly. EA bought up everything I owned, and then Saudi Arabia bought them.

    EA and Activision Blizzard Microsoft ruined gaming, especially online gaming. Its all games with a competitive mode that is prioritized over everything else or monetized to hell with microtransactions, battle passes, etc.

    EA in particular has always fucking sucked.

    That being said, pumped for Battlefield 6.

    Unity engine is pretty gay too ;)

    I architected and led the team that built out the EA Sports online system that we launched with Madden. And I built out the in-game microtransaction stuff that we launched with Need For Speed and FIFA.

    I got paid stupidly well for both.

    Definitely, but westwood was the first one i remember being mad about.

    This buy is going to do either completely fuck them, or there is a slim hope that the prince(or who ever bought them) is a gamer and wants to make good games again.

    Naa they're just another conglomerate that does unfortunate shit, but they at least are better than EA. Valve is still legit. They monetized gaming in their own way and effectively made access so easy that it almost makes no sense to pirate games.
