    While agreeing with you on pretty much everything you say...if you're the judge, how do you handle this scenario? You can legitimately dismiss a case with prejudice, because duh, and the city riots. Or you let it go to the jury (and their decision may cause a riot). It's so fucked up.

    In no way, shape or form should he bend to the BLM riot threats, which is essentially akin to domestic terrorism. He should be doing what's right in terms of the law, period.

    BLM threatening blood in the streets of New York if the new mayor doesn’t play ball but parents yelling at school boards is domestic terrorism.

    The threats and implications of rioting if people don’t get the trial outcome they want is fucked up.

    They need a mistrial. The judge has an extra chromosome, the prosecutors have borderline personality disorder, the defending attourneys are trying desperately to fuck-up what is now a slam-dunk and everyone is waiting to get pissed off over how it turns out. Dumpster warehouse, meet forest fire.

    I mean, when the movie gets made of this trial it will be the feel-good comedy hit of the summer.
