Norm Macdonald is all over twitter saying that everything after the keys dropped to Walt is a fantasy of Walt's and that he actually died/was arrested. I don't really think that is the case, but the man has made some good points.
I don't know if any of you have seen this but it's too good not to share. This is an actual obituary from the Albuquerque Journal. Here is a link to the article. Spoilered for size.
His point was that when the keys dropped from the visor they didn't have a remote lock on them. While Walt is setting up the machine gun, you clearly see the remote is new and doesn't have any keys on it.
I'm assuming that the remote didn't open the trunk and that it came open because of the gun going off. The gun was shooting through the fender anyway.
I forgot to DVR Breaking Bad last night. What did I miss? Oh, that's right. Sunday nights just aren't the same. I'm breaking sad.
Yes I know maybe 95% of the show is available on Netflix. Don't care, this Blu-Ray set is awesome. Comes with a Pollos Hermanos apron which I WILL be rocking all next Summer, and some 2-hour documentary I haven't watched yet. You can see how each season is arranged into a stack you can then pull out like a film reel. What holds each stack together? MAGNETS!
Nice. Forget where I read it, probably on Reddit, but came across an awesome idea someone must do down the line: a Breaking Bad follow up documentary. Not a doc about the show like in the collector's barrel, but a doc within the show's universe, years after it's all happened. Like a show that Flynn would see. Could have all new actors playing the cops who had to deal with the aftermath of Hank and Gomie dying, talking about what they did and didn't find at the Nazi compound, someone from Chile who knows something about Gus, people talking about Gretchen and Elliot's donation to Flynn, nurses at the asylum I assume Jane's dad is in, and a whole bunch of other cooler stuff I'd never think of. Could add yet another layer of mystery and Oh Shit moments to the series, and I almost feel like it would be better if Vince Gilligan and the crew weren't involved.
