I hope everyone is enjoying this treat of a show, and gem of a season. Whatever impending tragedy is coming for Kim is just a slow tension. (So much better than the frenetic tension throughout Uncut Gems, imho) Spoiler and Hank is here. Ha! Seehorn is fantastic. Hot damn. Do none of y'all watch this show? I'm not even starting a new season thread because nobody chatted in the last one. But damn. It's probably the best show on television right now.
I loved what I watched but then lost track of it. I think I have a couple of seasons to catch up on before the new one.
I’ve been watching it since the start, and I’m ready to see the conclusion of all this crazy shit. Is that Mickey Rourke at the end?
Yesss, I canNOT wait for this to start up again!! I'll have to go back and watch last season to refresh my memory of where it left off.
Good stuff. Kim is such a badass. The ending scene with the Kettlemans was so good. I also thought it was hilarious that we've seen Jimmy have to do a bunch of things that maybe he didn't plan on doing and he had to think / talk fast. But, Spoiler suddenly getting naked was not one I was expecting, lol. Also, when Mike turned and locked the door instead of walking out was great. Who is following Jimmy and Kim when they leave the Kettlemans?
I really love how they're showing Jimmy's...I don't know if hesitancy is the right word...but the pause he takes before putting on his Saul Goodman hat. We're seeing the origin of Saul, whereas in Breaking Bad, we didn't get to see the build up. I can't wait to see the expansion of Kim's role either. Spoiler: I'm trying to figure out... who followed them as well. Someone from Salamanca's clan? I don't think it would be someone associated with Howard...yet.
Betsy Kettleman reminds me of my ex and seeing how things go for her makes my heart soar like the eagle.
She is sporting some nice cleavage in that closing scene. (Julie Ann Emery uncovers them in the Catch-22 miniseries)
Ugh, SUCH a good episode that I woke up thinking about it! Spoiler I really didn't think Nacho would die! My husband and I swore he was in Breaking Bad so when he shot himself, it was a complete shock. Then I checked IMDB and he is not, in fact, in Breaking Bad. Why did I think he was in it? Some sort of Mandela effect.
Another great episode. There are a lot of trains heading towards each other for a collision to wind all the stories into the lead-in for Breaking Bad. Watching Seehorn visibly soften her face and posture when Mike complimented Kim in the diner was brilliant. (And, Seehorn directed that episode.) The scene with the parking spot sign was funny and tense at the same time. Spoiler I wonder if the sign falling over after Howard pulled away was a happy accident or rigged. Such a clever shot. And, the nod to the first season of Breaking Bad, of Gus walking down the stairs with the light at the top? (see my avatar) And, his house set up is a crazy precursor to the meth lab he built in BB. It's just really well done.
