Band Identity Generator

    I've recently come across this procedure to randomly make band names, and album covers. Give it a try and we might even find one for Rush-O-Matic.

    1 - Go to Wikipedia and hit random article. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
    2 - Go to quotationspage.com and hit Random Quote. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. (you'll have to refresh, since the random ones are all the same, for some reason)
    3 - Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. Third picture no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
    4 - Use picnik.com (or Photoshop, or whatever) to put it all together.

    Let's see what you got.

    OK, I will admit to thinking this was complete bullshit, but being a scientist I thought I'd run with it and see what happened. Fuck if it doesn't work. This is better than the algorithm to generate your porno name.
