From her post in the R&R thread she's a student, so I assume it was a part time/low wage job, she shouldn't have too much trouble finding something to tide her over while she finishes it up. And as debt averse as I am it won't kill her to take out a extra 2-3 grand in student loans to tide her over if she has too. I'm 27 and doing the same thing, I bought a car but couldn't get a loan on it because it was over 7 years old, despite having less than 60k miles. I just treat them as I would any other lender and have the money automatically deposited into a joint bank account the first of every month. Edit- fixed gender, thanks Dcc001

The main competitor in this niche makes something like $60 (combined from multiple ads running at the same time) per 1000 hits.

I am totally 100% a woman. I am also not a student at this time and haven't been one in many years which is why I am making the move to go back. I was working at a bank making pretty ok money but realized with the education I have now, not much, that would be the top of the pay scale for someone like me. I was working as a Financial Service Rep for one of Canadas worst banks over the telephone. I had never worked in a contact center environment but figured since it was a bank it couldnt be as bad as the horror stories I have heard about call centers, I was sooooo very wrong. High pressure sales, lots of bullying from upper management when your sales weren't amazing with an upper management made up of 25 year old ditzy woman who got their positions through sucking up and or making loads of sales (most of which were probably quasi inappropriate or unnecessary to the client) or tenured people who hated the job more then me. I have never been in such a toxic workplace in my life. I am not stressed about finding a job, I could return to retail and have a job by the end of the week, I am more stressed about getting stuck in another dead up career I care nothing about which is why going back to school is my priority. I picked a shitty time of year to decide to go back to school so this might be a summer/fall thing.
