I think you're right, that is what bothers me about it. It isn't that I miss the jokes. I watch the absolute shit out of this show and have watched episodes over again while waiting for the next season to come out. It's just....at a certain point, the jokes become redundant and, as you say, self-fellating. That being said, I still love this show and won't miss an episode. I just hope that this show doesn't spiral down the drain and these less than stellar moments and episodes are merely a small downtick in the grand scheme of things.
