    I get to spend my weekend moving. Thankfully, I'm almost done packing. I'm hoping I get my new (well, new to me) Blazer before tomorrow otherwise it is going to be ridiculously squished in the Civic for the 6.5-ish hour drive.

    What have I learned at work today?

    Apparently the sound of a dust cap going onto a large telescope with force sounds to the alarm system like shattering glass, and the alarm company shows up.

    Also, my company's banner ad keeps on showing up on the top of TiB, as if to remind me to get back to work.

    Last night, I went to see a reading of To Kill A Mockingbird. It was a fundraiser for this foundation that supports literacy in my city. Hung out with my teacher from high school, had a drink that was made up for the night called "Tequila Mockingbird" (I'm pretty sure it was a kamikaze with creme de menthe), and finished the night with a chicken cheese steak that was amazing. Also found out that if I get a job at my old high school, the teacher wants me to take over the journalism class because I was her favorite student ever.

    Holy fuck.

    - no more St. Jean and no more Quebec. I'm hesitant to say no more St. Jean ever, because the place has a tendency to pull you in like an evil magnet. But for now, no more St. Jean food and my intestines, having detected some real food in them, are thanking me by not emitting five gallons of gas per night.

    - I'm going somewhere else for the next month. Sure, it's English, but at what cost?

    - One of the profs on the language course I was taking came out drinking with the students the night before the last day of course and hooked up with one of her students. My lord.

    Well, she was hot enough, if that's what you mean. Consider that she was like that one hot, young French teacher you had in high school (well, I had in high school) while everyone else were 40 and 50 something year old Frogs of various stripes. The male of the species involved is one of the hairiest, greasiest moors placed upon this earth. Which is of course the jewel of the story.

    OK, I don't think this whole "ninja" focus of the drunk thread is going to pan out. I have spent half an hour doing image searches using "ninja/porn" as parameters, and it's pretty disappointing, I tell ya what. How about we change it to something different that is still in the same league, like asian chicks?

    I will be house-sitting this weekend. The family I house sit for usually take half their beer, then encourage me to drink the other half. Sometimes it's a keg, other times it's a full 30 pack. Free Beer + Money + House to myself = pretty sexy.

    Ninjas are from Asia. Asians are hot. Your logic is sound, sirs. But the fact that even one of you finds them unattractive is highly disturbing...
