    According to the posts in the last few days, there are a lot of people here on Skype.
    One of my friends just talked me into joining; it seems like a good deal since I have really shitty cell phone reception where I live.

    Problem: I'm registered on Skype for the free service, but I looked up her user name and get zero results. She has tried contacting me through my user name, and nothing happens. She said to add her to my contacts, but I can't bring up the contacts window.
    She went through it with me step by step over the phone, but nothing worked.
    Maybe she has a different version of Skype than the one I just downloaded?
    I don't know. Does anyone know anything about this?

    Make sure that you are signed in and "online". If not it won't pull anything up.

    I'm just telling you this, because somehow I was "offline" and whenever I searched for people yesterday it wouldn't pull them up.

    Something to try anyway.

    I just logged onto Skype in a separate window, and tried her user name in the search box with zero results, AGAIN. How can I tell if I'm "online" or not?

    Things I wish I could unsee.....

    Went to the new* Mid South Fair tonight. I'm here to tell you that while the funnel cake is one of the most overrated desserts of all time, the red velvet funnel cake is What Jesus Would Freaking Do. I felt my taste buds sing, my arteries clog, and my cholesterol go "DING DING DING, we have a winnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!"

    The purpose of going my wife and I going to the fair tonight was to see our 19 year old nephew make his pro wrestling debut. He was AWESOME. Kid is better than most of what's on TV in WWF/E. I couldn't be more proud of him, especially since I worked as a pro wrestler for a bit.

    Yes, I admitted that I was a pro wrestler and I like pro wrestling. Have at me, jackals.

    * I call it the new Mid South Fair, even though it's been in Desoto County Mississippi for the last 2 years. I still maintain that the Mid South Fair is ONLY the Mid South Fair when it is held at Libertyland, aka 5 Flags Over The Ghetto.
