Based on a post in the WDT: Focus: If you could watch the daily life of any board member, present or past, who would it be and why? Alt Focus: If someone were watching you, what would they see? What's your daily life like?
Dewercs. The amount of deep sea fishing and Arizona cougers is too much to pass up. Alt Focus: My life is motherfucking boring.
Creepy answer: any of the TiBettes Otherwise: Canis. Call it morbid curiosity. Alt: what Kubla said. Unless you find paper shuffling, hazardous waste sites and daily trips to the bar interesting.
I want you to tell me about waste manifests while I finger myself. Rawr. Focus: Chellie. That chick likes some fun stuff. Alt-focus: Parenting + Science + one obnoxious boss + a host of medical professionals on speed dial. That's my life.
Last week we shipped two drums of a D018 listed waste, but thanks to state exemptions it went non-haz. Take pictures.
I'd choose TiBettes over myself if I was you. Unless you really enjoy seeing trees. Focus: Revengeofthenerds. He's one entertaining dude. audreymonroe is also just a bevy of weird stories and fun information. I don't know, I guess I could say I would be wanting to switch camera feeds to various TiB members; "Oh look, Dixie is waxing Jungle Julia. [flicks to next camera feed] Crown is in Asia? I guess that's Singapore. [another tab over to another feed] JESUS BUTTFUCKING CHRIST WHY!?! [gouges out eyes with a pocket knife]"
I'd like to have a camera feed on Ballsack. I don't think I'd ever get bored. My day to day life is I think pretty interesting. At work right now, I'm doing interviews. I've been in charge of those for about the last 4 months or so. Formal questions get formal answers and I'm looking more for the right personality fit, so my interviews are a very casual conversation. They're a blast, for me and the person who'll be joining the team (though if I know they aren't a good fit, the interview will last less than 10 minutes)... At home, I try to have as much fun as possible. Pretty easy when my wife is down for anything (except anal) and my son is cool. I like being outside, building something, landscaping, fishing, hunting. Right now the ducks are taking up a lot of my time and then I'm going to work building elaborate herb and vegetable gardens. Not a day goes by that I'm not shooting one of my guns for some reason. Today I caught an opossum in one of our traps I'd baited with the fat trimmings from the brisket. He wouldn't hold still for an easy cage shot and I liked the idea of target practice, so I opened the cage with some leather gloves and downed him on the run with my 10/22.
Blue Dog or Scootah would be interesting. I would love to watch SUAPYG at his workshop. If you want to watch a Mastiff sleeping, that would be about the extent of a camera over here.
Focus: scootah. That guy has a life so far removed from anything I can relate to that I'd love to watch it for a while. Alt-focus: normally, my daily life isn't that interesting through a camera. An IT job, hobbies like running, biking and photography, and a stable long term relationship doesn't lend itself to exciting footage. For the last 8 months, though, you would have gotten a nonstop feed of daily travel, now on my 21st country, a few hundred miles of hiking, and countless miles walking around cities. Historic cities, epic views from mountain tops, and spectacular oceans have been almost a daily occurrence, and we're active travelers so the chances are you'd never have seen one of one of the couple rest days. I've climbed amazing peaks, cared for rescued elephants, explored ancient ruins, touched places few other people have ever gone and swam in water so clear it disappeared into the sky. Probably the most boring thing we did was drink with Russians on the Trans Siberian Railroad for 5 days. I have no idea how I'm going back to real life.
Focus: This is a tough one, I suppose the guy we have on here who's a sports writer? I'm not super into sports, but it's at least watching some kind of active thing vs. watching someone with a desk job. Nett would be cool too, but mostly when he's doing everything but his actual work; building stuff, fucking polar bears, etc etc. Alt-Focus: My day to day fluctuates a lot, but I can sort of break down a semi typical week. Monday - Wake up, phone calls at 10, at the office by noon, office/paperwork for a couple hours, meeting at 2 and 2:30, note that my new assistant is hot when she comes in around 3, leave around 4ish to drive to a client meeting, then come home to wife and baby. Late evening, go to late night BBQ place with all you can eat wings after 9pm. Tuesday - Stay home all day with my daughter, phoning at 6pm, then relax late evening Wednesday - Combination of meetings, phoning, lots of driving, case prep, etc etc. Highly variable and boring. Thursday - Ditto Friday - Ditto until early afternoon. Then in the Fall/Spring it's usually pack up and head to a larp for the weekend and back home to sleep Sunday evening. Other times, it's come home and relax or more client meetings. Saturday (if not at an event) - Phoning in the morning, family time during the day. Sunday (if not at an event) - Podcast in the morning, poker tournament midday, date with my girlfriend in the evening.
Focus: It's a tie between DixieBandit and RoTN. I don't think I need to explain why. Y'all know. Alt: Nobody wants to be a fly on the wall during a day in my life. You'd either get so depressed you'd want to put your head in an oven...or you'd fall asleep from boredom. I see some interesting and sad shit at work. My personal life is full of normal everyday stuff, and I'm completely okay with that.
I'd like to have a couple days of everyone. I'd love to watch Audrey spend a couple of days in her life, then a couple of days of SheDevil, and Nom, and Parker, and Bandit, and RoTN, and Crown, and VI, and Juice, Binary, etc. You get the idea. It seems like I've come to know an aspect of a lot of people around here in the past X years, and it'd be incredibly fascinating to see how that translates into their "real" life.
I'm not sure whether to be honored or embarrassed. Especially since I'm mentioned so closely with Dixie. Has to be the small town texas thing. Though like I always tell people, stereotypes exist for a reason. 'Texan' is code word for "not like the rest of y'all."
Well my life is half a mashup of every show that takes place in NYC and half me lying in bed looking at my computer, so, hopefully you all tune in at the right time.
Seconded. I can totally see him getting frenzied in a wolf costume. I'd also wouldn't mind seeing how Audrey roles. She seems to live an interesting life. Alt focus: I'm pretty sure no one has listed me because I live a pretty boring ordinary life. Nothing crazy like burning boxes in a pit with gasoline, or going to crazy secret sex parties.
My life has slowed down drastically in the past few years. Unless watching home improvement is your thing I have as little excitement as possible these days.
