    This is sad. I just did a search for a local band I used to know who had released a few EP's. They were called French Kiss.

    I couldn't resist. This was next week's VI's Lost Hit, but it's that kind of night.



    This is the first Journey album that Steve Perry really asserted himself. If you didn't know, Neil Schon and Greg Rollie came from the 'Black Magic Woman' era Santana band, formed Journey, did some great progressive stuff and then did better stuff on this album. Then deservedly went on to fame and fortune.

    This song reminds me of a girl named Stacy that I miss dearly. We had one date, and I was so scared I fucked it up. Badly.

    What was the name of that banned asshole who kept posting music videos that no one gave a shit about? Y'all got some good tastes though. I'm into country the same way I'm into hot sauce (I'm either obsessed about something or apathetic to it; I think I have a problem). Real country though, where the artists still write their own stuff. Florida Georgia Line makes me wanna curb stomp someone.

    At any rate, here's Aubrey Sellers. Her father is Lee Sellers (the famous songwriter) and her mother is Lee Ann Womack ("I Hope You Dance). Yeah, she can sing:



    Maren Morris is getting mainstream attention now that's she's on Keith Urban's *shudder* tour, but the track "Once" is one of my favorite on her first album "Hero."
