It's National Puppy Day!! There is no need for me to say anything beyond that for a focus. Well, other than that as mentioned in the previous WDT Sunday is indeed National Go Topless Day. Puppies, in various forms, for both. I still live in a dogless house. It is in the plan and when we do that's what I want right there.
Here is Otto as a puppy. Probably the first day or 2 that I got him. Probably about 40 lbs. Now, he's 97.
Went to a brewery for trivia last night and someone had a 3 month old chocolate lab/German shorthair mix there. I basically lost it, puppy was too cute. Puppies (of all ages) are my kryptonite. I reallllly wish I could have seen Buck as a pup, but this is the earliest I have of him at 1 1/2 years from his foster home. Obviously the "please adopt me" face worked. Also, reasons why Minnesota is great: His name is Duke and he's a good boy.
Gotta build the duck coop this weekend. So it's a lot of sunshine, framing (get to play with my new nail gun), cigars and ice cold fake beer. Also known as my version of heaven.

I take a couple hours of vacation or PTO every payday just to burn some of it off so I don't lose 3 paid weeks like I did last year. Speaking of which...I went to the bank to cash my check. Friday. 2:30 PM. One fucking teller. And some asshole in front of me brought in 4 freezer bags full of loose change they wanted to convert to "Paper Spending Money." At least I'm guessing that's what she called it. She didn't speak English.
Why do people ever go to the license bureau to renew their license plates? It's worth every cent of the $7 processing fee to do it online. I wish Buttercup was still as cute as she was when she was a puppy. Pug puppies are the best. Now she's just fat, still cute, but mostly fat.
No, non alcoholic beer. I have a problem with alcohol. Raising ducks for their eggs and the fact that they eat bugs in the yard. I have 2 but 6 more babies coming in a week. I have a male and will breed them to eat. I'm building the house now because the two that I have are big enough to go outside now. Previously they've been in my home office. Fun little dudes.
The best thing about baby ducks is when they flap their tiny little wings. It's maybe the cutest thing ever. Then they get big and are annoying as fuck.
Yeah. I can tell you right now that probably ain't happening. The moment you see them as pets, you aren't going to eat them.
I read about a department store that had ducks in their window display and every hour the ducks would "Dance." (This was in the 50's or 60's) Crowds would gather and watch in awe as one by one the ducks started dancing. It turned out that underneath their tin foil floor there were multiple griddles that the staff would turn on once an hour.
The starter pack ducks are tools. Very sweet tools, but still tools. I'm building a big garden they're gonna help me fertilize and keep under control. Their offspring though, when I decide to let the fertile eggs hatch, are going on the BBQ pit though.
