Today is: National Respect Your Parents Day. We need a specific day for that? Wow. National Girlfriends Day. Relax guys. National Raspberry Cream Pie Day. I have no comment. Ahem. I guess it's a holiday weekend in Canada? Civic Holiday? So happy that too.
It's Civic holiday weekend, aka "The Unpaid Holiday". Whatever, I'll take an extra day off during the peak perfect weather.
Coincidentally I was just about to make a run to the local pie shop because they are closing for the rest of August. I just checked and they do have a chocolate raspberry cream pie. Guess I'll have to add that to my list.
Today is.... Local have a garage sale and have the neurotic, fucked up renter from down the street come to chat. I came inside. I cannot deal with this guy. He didn't use to bother me but the more I talk to him, the more I want to get a good punch in when I see his stupid face. I'd love to buy $100 worth of portabella mushrooms and just pelt his face with them. Fuck you, asshole! Now you can't even eat the expensive ass mushrooms because you are a hypochondriac and won't dust off mushrooms that have hit the ground even though they grow out of the ground to start with. Fuck youuuuuu.
There's an R&R post from a couple months ago that I'm too lazy to search for, but basically this lunatic emailed me asking for a specific list of items from specific grocers, including portabella mushrooms. He doesn't eat meat, grains, legumes, beans, or pretty much anything that allows basic brain functions. He is slowly killing himself. I give it a year before someone finds a rotting corpse in his bed. Spoiler: The corpse is him.
Wow. Ontario folks sure get the shaft. Alberta has Heritage Day this Monday, and although not technically a statutory paid holiday, employers can designate it as such, and an overwhelming majority do (same with Boxing Day). We also get Family Day in Feb and Remembrance Day in Nov. http://www.workrights.ca/content.php?doc=7
Know what else grows in poo? Every vegetable ever. Possible the biggest difference is though the part you eat doesn't emerge from the steaming pile.
That's not a huge exaggeration. We have about 60% of the world's freshwater. Lots of scenery. And deer flies FUCK I hate those meat-eating bear traps with wings.
Lift up your hood Right on, man. The bond between women who share similar interests is a natural, beautiful thing. Just hanging out, sitting around, talking about hobbies they enjoy - like shoes and cars.
