Hunting season is coming. How do I know that? Because the SO won't shut up about it. He's like a little kid. I don't get it at all but I do get that it makes him happy so whatever. FOCUS: What is your "I don't get it and I never will but, okay then"?
Home improvement/remodeling. That shit is expensive, and does it really make a person happier? If some says they do it to improve their asset value I get it, but does it really make a person happier to have crown molding or hardwood floors? Alt-Focus: I'm guessing some people here may not understand why I spend so much on hockey gear or fishing kit. I like nice things that work well. I'm willing to spend more for it. But I'm sure some people will say they're just skates, its just a hockey stick, its just a reel, who cares. And to keep the summer vibe alive
Yes. Adjusting your living space to your tastes and desires has that effect on people. If you do it with shit you made or did yourself, it compounds the effect.
Im drinking titties....I mean bourban as well. Jim Beam 100 proof bonded. Pretty good. Little pricey for the amount.
I almost bought a new bottle yesterday but decided not to since I still had this bottle of Knob Creek at home. Today, I regret that decision.
Automotive modifications are the same way. I have to build a fenced enclosure in Jungle Julia's backyard for my two dogs this weekend; her dog and one of mine don't get along. Hopefully I don't have to keep my mutt in there for too long before he learns to behave (he always tries to attack her dog; her dog, despite being a pit bull, is a total pussy.).
I was in Sam's Club of all places and they had a hell of a selection. Somehow I'm just now getting into whiskey.
Woodford Reserve was the bourbon that ruined every other hard liquor for me. After that, it was only nice bourbon and scotch. And sometimes gin if I felt summer-y.
For the outdoorsy types, Pro Bass Shop is the coolest fucking store on earth. I did not want to leave this place.
Crown. You're one of the people I would make fun of when I worked at Bass Pro Shops--not the Pro Bass. C'mon man.
