April 10, 2015– NATIONAL SIBLINGS DAY– Those of you with any, I guess this means you have to be nice to them? NATIONAL CINNAMON CRESCENT DAY– National Cinnamon Crescent Day is annually celebrated on April 10th. Crescent roll dough filled with sugar, cinnamon and butter then rolled, shaped and baked to a golden brown deliciousness. Yes please. NATIONAL ENCOURAGE A YOUNG WRITER DAY– This should be every day.. NATIONAL FARM ANIMALS DAY- Ummm......I'm not touching this one.
National Cinnamon Crescent day? You mean Islamic pastry usurper day! Walmart brand chocolate chip only, MURIKA.
The day can't end quickly enough. My wife has given up the drink. Go her! I however haven't and am in bad need of weed, whiskey and Chinese food. I'm just asking myself 'How high can I be and still do technical work?'
Finally rained out after being soaked twice in one day. Cannot wait to drink some ice cold Jameson when I get home.
Tomorrow, I get to wake up at 4 in the morning to drive 120 miles and give a presentation on the research I've been doing for the last two years. It doesn't feel worth waking up that early to give a 15 minute presentation, but it was my idea to get my ESL certification, so I just have to suck it up. On the plus side, they provide breakfast.
Know what makes me want to drink until I'm dead? Try teaching the civil rights movement to a group of shockingly unrepentant racists. If this werent Friday, I'd be calling in sick tomorrow.
I'm so tired. There's something about looking at modules, sitting in software classes and shadowing a new co-worker. Drinks start now!
I'm stuck in the office trying to lead by example when all I can do is think that I want to just leave early and go home. But nope... sprint retrospective in 30 minutes. At least I serve beer at them. And it better be a quick meeting, because when that's done, I'm out of here.
Flew into New York for business today. The first whiskey cant get here soon enough. Ought to be an interesting weekend, get to be at a Yankees game for the first time.
Sounds like a good time. As much as it sucks to watch baseball on tv, going to a game with friends is pretty sweet. Out here we can get Rockies tickets for under $10, and at those games I will easily spend three times that amount on booze. I like baseball parks anymore. I think they figured out what people want. People go to a game not for the game but to housed with friends. All the new parks I've been to lately cater to that very well. Plenty of alcohol outlets, tons of bathrooms, fun atmosphere. On that note its opening day...MODS: How do I NSFW tag with this new format? Spoiler: like this. BAZINGA!
