I think Judge could hit 60+ again. It's still amazing to me that Bonds topped 50 only once, the year he hit 77, and Sosa topped 60 three times.

Just saw this piece of trivia: Judge is now the MLB single season home run leader among players whose first and last initials are a different letter.

Brady Anderson hit 9, then he hit 51. How? Rollerblading. Lots of it.

I'll take it. At 8-1 I'd pretty much lost interest, and then....

Hopefully the Yankees get bounced. Then I can at least console myself that all the AL East lost, the Sox just did it first.

I’m rooting for a Seattle v. Sand Diego World Series regardless. Those are bad odds, but it’s what baseball fans want to see.

Guardians. Undefeated in their entire playoff history..

    Not playoff related, but interesting…

Randy Johnson is a pro photographer, and has been doing NFL sideline photography.

But what’s amazing is his logo:

He also shoots concerts. His Rush photo was used for the cover the R40 Live album, he's a fan and friend of the band. (And he plays drums. The Diamondbacks gave him a Neil Peart drum kit as a retirement gift.)

Braves fans should not feel down about the Phillies loss. You just take any humiliation you may feel and drop that shit right into every Dodgers fans’ lap. HAHAHAHAHA

I'm a little disappointed with how the team fizzled in the playoffs, but I'm still happy for the long term. The Braves have a lot of their young core locked up and will be competitive for several years to come. For the next several weeks, the Braves are still the reigning champs, and it is VERY hard to repeat as World Series Champions. (hasn't happened since 2000)

    Locked up:
    3B, Austin Riley — 2032
CF, Michael Harris II — 2032
    1B, Matt Olson — 2030
    SP, Spencer Strider — 2029
RF, Ronald Acuña Jr — 2028
LF (2B or SS), Vaughn Grissom — 2028
    2B, Ozzie Albies — 2027
    C (DH), William Contreras — 2027
    SP, Kyle Wright — 2026
    RP, Raisel Iglesias — 2025
    C, Travis d'Arnaud — 2024
    RP, Collin McHugh — 2024
    SP, Charlie Morton — 2024

And, pitchers Max Fried, Dylan Lee, AJ Minter, and Jackson Stevens are all basically under control for several years, though arbitration may be involved. The only thing that may get messy is whether or not they sign Dansby Swanson (SS), who will be a free agent.

Buck Showalter named Manager of the Year, lol. He brought his many years of experience and baseball knowledge, with the biggest payroll in MLB, and lifted the Mets from a 3rd place team to . . . a 2nd place team. Woo.

Since he's still in recovery from his knee injury, and in a big contract with the Braves, they didn't have to allow Ronald Acuña, Jr to participate in the Venezuelan Baseball League. But, they agreed to loan him for 10 games, I think.

Anyway, he won their Home Run Derby tonight, and when he did, a bunch of fans stormed the field, surrounding him and celebrating. I'm sure the Braves loved that.

Should've called it the "Insane peacock fest" Pretty sure that one guy said "Come at me bro" as he ran backwards from first base to the warning track. The half kick by one of the guys was pretty 5th grade school yard fight cool though.

It was like watching the Puig School Of Picking Fights. I haven’t seen “Somebody Hold Me Back” energy like this since my college bar days.

It is a stupid deal. Good for him, he is set for his entire career.

But…fuck. Nobody knows what the Red Sox are even trying to do.
