    Later on she was excellent as Frank’s equally awful mother on the USA version of “Shameless”. Most didn’t recognize her by that time.

    It was just played to death at the time and then he never followed it up with anything close. It was a gritty banger with one of the all time great hooks. Video also had peak Michelle Pfeiffer.

    My understanding is that Weird Al was told Coolio had said it was fine to do, but hadn't actually done that. They spoke about it and the miscommunication got fixed up and Coolio gave his blessing.

    What street gang wouldn’t follow their teacher’s word after she beats one of them at a game of pool?

    The only trope that movie was missing was the climax being decided by some sort of downhill “race” involving makeshift vehicles.
