    The past two months have sucked for pro bike riders. Two pro cyclists have recently been hit and killed by cars while riding: Mike Hall & Michele Scarponi. Additionally, Chris Froome was forced off the road and had his bike run over by a road rage driver.

    Roger Moore was my least favorite Bond; I want grit a la Daniel Craig or Timothy Dalton. But to Moore's immense credit, he had a sense of humor about himself to the point of parodying himself in The Cannonball Run, and was supportive of the franchise after he left. He seemed to be a first class human being. RIP.

    One of the nicest guys in Hollywood. Like Scorsese, he remembered every single person he worked with and had praise for every one of them.

    Night of the Living Dead is the greatest horror movie ever made. Even after 50 years it's power to chill people to the bone remains completely intact. It broke every rule and created the new ones. The touchstone horror movie for all time. And Dawn Of The Dead is every bit as classic.
