    That second foul on Samham was shit. But the St Mary's coach has done a remarkable job rotating him in and out of the game to avoid getting that third foul. The Gaels' offense is running so smooth right now, it's a thing of beauty to watch. You know 'Nova is going to come out putting mad pressure on the ball, if St Mary's can continue to take care of the ball -- and McConnell can knock down some more big shot -- St Mary's definitely has a big chance to pull off the upset. But the Gaels can't rely on just Samham to rebound, they have to find some other guys to step up and be big.

    Edit: And come on St Mary's, you gotta run your men off the screens tight. Don't let the defender slip through.

    Awesome game! Samhan is freaking good and will be an NBA star for sure. How bout that McConnell 3, holy crap, from like 18 ft out and off the glass. His f/t's were the nails in the coffin. Nice job St. Mary's, Baylor will hopefully best you, but if they don't, you should get to the Elite 8 no problem.

    Samhan is ridiculously fun to watch. I'm not even too upset that Nova lost because St. Mary's deserved that win. And McConnell... just wow.

    Holy fuck did Murray St shit the bed after that missed FT with 15 or so seconds left? That was unbelievably horrible execution at the end of the game. Down 2 with a chance to tie or take the lead ... And you don't even get a fucking shot off? Wow.

    meanwhile, New Mexico is 0-5 (really 0-6 with the 5th miss being the front end of a 1-and-1) while being down 9 in the first half. Missed FTs must drive Steve Alford just absolutely CRAZY.

    On the flip side, Northern Iowa is 6-12 from the three and 6-8 from the line in jumping out to an 8 point lead over Kansas at the half. Who'd have thought making baskets would be good for you? Revolutionary.
