I am tragically at the outset of a diet to try to shave some weight before ski season. I ate a lb of brussel sprouts today.
People keep saying that, but I don't think there's that much fiber in brussel sprouts. It's got less than half the fiber, by weight, that Grape Nuts has.
You know there are other vegetables, right? Brussies aren’t bad, but a pound a day of the same food 2 days in a row sounds wild. May I suggest a bag of French beans sautéed in sesame oil with an aggressive amount of garlic and Szechuan pepper? Or perhaps a pile of grilled asparagus with soy butter sauce? Maybe a nice arugula salad with some lentils and tomatoes and goat cheese?
