I can't stop listening to Grizzly Bear lately, and this is a great video:

According to a friend, their heads were covered in flame-retardant gel and actually lit on fire, though I couldn't find a source to confirm it. But even if this is all CGI, it's pretty damn cool.

So I'll listen to the country station every once in a while to change it up a bit. Then this mother fucker came out of nowhere and fucked up my world. It's so terrible. And yet it's been stuck in my head for days. I'm passing my misery on to you guys.

Best quality I could find on youtube. Must not be an official video yet.

Actually, the more I listen to it, the more I like it. This must be one of those things that straddles the genius-stupidity line.

I listen to a lot of modern rock, but in the wake of The Rev dying today I have been listening to Avenged Sevenfold.

I've been a fan of Berlin since before I was in high school.

A few years ago they released an album/CD that featured them doing a cool over of Peter Gabrial's Scream.

This is the only YoutTube video I can find of it, but it sucks REALLY hard, and doesn't do it justice.

Still one of the most beautiful songs ever written by silly humans.

The Lonesome Crowded West by Modest Mouse stands as one of my favorite albums ever (along with This is a Long Drive...). Two of my favorites:

Edit: eh, decided to throw up one from This is a Long Drive too, just because it fucking rules:

And just to salvage a little street cred so you don't all think I'm some hipster I give you Let Me See by Morcheeba and Talib Kwali... If you don't dig this song, you may as well be a Harley rider:
