    wait so how does the recall process on that work? Like does your surgeon just call you up one day "uh, ma'am, I have a report here that says you have some bad titties"?

    When you get implants you get a registration card and it’s got your implant make, model, and specifications on it, as well as date of implant.
    In my case, I got a letter from the company (Allergan) stating there’s a “voluntary recall” on this specific implant line and that it’s related to a specific form of lymphoma. They say the risk is small, and other sorts of reassurance words, and that if you aren’t having symptoms you don’t need to do anything.
    Due to my circumstances my insurance company agreed to removal and exchange.

    I’m really glad because a) cancer, b) these implants are kinda hard, and c) the new ones sound more comfortable.

    We’re the recalled ones the same ones that can cause lymphoma? My friends wife had those, only after she had been cured of lymphoma and recently, breast cancer.

    The Allergan natrelle 410 highly cohesive are what I have that were recalled due to lymphoma connections. They’re coming out today.

    Guys, don't be crass. If shim wants to share the restoration and updated surgery as part of her healing journey we should all support her and encourage her to reveal whatever she's comfortable with in good time.

    And, I mean that both seriously and tongue-in-cheek. I don't want to be insensitive . . . but I'll look. lol
