I love the stage in life where you get a pain and then realize that it's never going away. That's fun.
Ahh yes... the "pain management" stage you enter with your GP. Not long ago I was having my quarterly checkup and mentioned some issues... he said, "ah, no worries, we got meds for that. here, try this... call me if you want to up the dosage." I have to say that I've called a few times, and as a result my sleep has been way way better. Between some meds and the CPAP, I'm sleeping my best life over here. Mind you, I have yet to get to the point where meds counteract a thunder and lightning scared 95 lbs dog snuggling up to you shaking in fear. And of course, it's been raining a lot lately, and now the back yard is a huge mud puddle. Zoe loves it, and wants me to join in. The cleaners show up next week, and they are going to hate the state of the house.
BTW, the major landscaping decision this year is to rip up the flagstone patio and concrete it, bigger, and then cedar mulch the rest of the back yard. No fucking way the lawn is ever going to come back so I'm not even going to try any more.
