Settle a debate for me. What color is the dress? Don't be blue on wear blue day. It's Friday! Time to par-tay. I hope you are all enjoying the end of winter. I've been getting outside and it has been invigorating. Pulling weeds, digging up worms, hanging laundry to dry. Yeah, it's 40F, but there is low humidity. It works for me. Y'all be good.
I've never seen anyone post two versions of the dress coloration before. The original photo was this: And some people see it as black/blue and some see it as white/gold, from what I understand. There are multiple scientific articles about it, a whole Wiki page, and tons of other things about it. Either way, I like the second dress you posted better than the first combo pic.
Personally, I think the third garment is the best. I want a blue silk bathrobe now. Although it sure won't look like that when I wear it!
That picture that Rush posted is white/blue and I refuse to believe otherwise. Mental illness be dammed.
That picture is clearly white and gold. But, I also just poured cold extra black tea into the glass that had the last inch of iced coffee from earlier, noticed, and decided to drink it anyway. I guess we are all a little ill
Just when I thought I'd heard every stupid conspiracy theory. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...he-doesnt-believe-in-space-and-other-planets/
The only people that think it's blue and black have obvious brain damage... Oh, I just realized who I was replying to.
I'm sitting here, barely awake, sipping the first coffee, looking at the Wiki page.... the majority of the dress is close to the same color as the background color of the Wiki page (white) and there are light blue links on the Wiki page and no part of the dress is remotely close to the color of the links. I've always seen only white/gold on that dress. Then again, I'm sure that if I am ever checked there will be at least "some" signs of CTE from years of playing football and such. And, not to backtrack and derail the thread but, back to the CPAP: 1 week of use so far it's been pretty good. I don't feel this major change in energy but I have definitely been less tired throughout the day and per the app, I've gone from @ 80 events at night to less than 10 the past 3 nights. Now, to get the wife checked as she also snores like a congested gorilla. Now, on to an exciting day of Estate Sales in the land of old folks and retirees!
I’ve found in recent years that I can’t do estate sales. Maybe it’s a function of getting older. I’ll turn a corner and see the inevitable jumble of walkers, canes, commodes and other old age health aids, and it bums me out. Or I’ll start thinking about how all of their stuff was accumulated over a lifetime, and represents that life- marriages, kids, vacations, hobbies, etc. And now I’m here with a bunch of strangers picking through the remains of that life looking for a deal on power tools or fishing rods. It really gets to me. But I’m sure I’m overthinking it as usual. Have fun.
The dress photo is one of the few optical illusions I've ever seen where I absolutely cannot get my brain to see it from the other perspective. It's clearly a white/gold dress to me. I think that means the white/gold people have increased brain function. Which supports @jdoogie's theory.
