    I love how you need a drivers license because you need to be certified to drive a car. Obviously this is a safety thing, we don't want unfit drivers on the road hurting people.

    But anyone can have a kid. I know there is so much to the issue, but there are so many bad parents out there who are just harming kids left and right. And the best society can do is take the kids and put them in foster care after they've been harmed. Kinda messed up.

    As a foster care worker and mandated reporter, this thread stresses me the fuck out. Also, you would be amazed at a) how terrible some parents are and b) how fucked up shit has to get before children are removed. I just hope that someone had the sense to call in complaints on some of these people.
