Corey Haim is dead, apparently of an accidental drug overdose. And this seems to be news everywhere. Really? This is news? Not only did he revel in his drug addiction and used it to his PR advantage at all opportunities, he stopped being relevant years ago, and became a public douche with that abortion of a "reality" show The Two Coreys. Well, Feldman is a bit of a douche as well, but at least he is somehow married to a hot piece of bitchy ass, which in some way may offset the douchiness a bit. I'm not quite sure how that math works... FOCUS: Discuss the death of Corey Haim. Do you care? If so, what gaping void has this left in your own life? ALT-FOCUS: What Hollywood personality do you wish had checked out along with him?
You know you're officially off the rails when Corey Feldmen can rightly be referred to as "The Normal Corey."
Uhh... who? I don't claim to know anything about pop culture, but I only recognize Feldman's name and may have heard of "The Two Coreys", but I didn't even know these guys were famous at one point or another. All of them, really.
1, Every single girl who had a Corey Haim poster on their wall in the 80's (meaning, really, every single girl growing up in the 80's) has shed a tiny little tear this morning. RIP Corey Haim. Of course, I don't know which is more sad - his death or the fact that there are people alive that don't recognize the name of the lead actor in the greatest vampire movie ever made, AKA The Lost Boys. That's it, I'm going back to sleep.
Ahhh... you kids have no idea what you missed out on. The Lost Boys. THIS is what all those girls of the 80's lusted for in high school.
Yeah, we all know these guys are more your speed: Seriously... are these guys dead yet? Like Denis Leary said, how can the young one not be found dead in the back seat of a limo with hookers and blow?
Ditto. I saw the announcement this morning and had to IMDB him to find out who he was and what he was in. I didn't remember him even being in Crank 2 until I googled pictures and realized he was the douche that Amy Smart beat the shit out of. I've never seen Lost Boys. Alt. Focus: Lindsay Lohan Honestly, I'm surprised that she is still alive. As I said in the random links page, she's totally set herself up for a life of high-priced prostitution and an impending drug overdose. I think she's hanging on by a string (financially) because there are still clubs that pay her enough to make appearances that she can afford to be vapid and useless all the time. But take that away and she's knocking out her own teeth to offer her clientele a comfortable blow job incentive and mainlining into her labia to hide the track marks.
I guess this finally kills my hopes for License To Drive 2. I fucking loved that movie. Alt-Focus: I don't call reality-tv stars "Hollywood Personality", but I wouldn't bat an eyelash if I were told Andy Dick or Kathy Griffin were dead. Unfunny, creepy-looking and useless? I'm dioggging a hole already.
Holy Shit, Jack Bauer and Bill S. Preston, Esq! I admit, never heard of the guy, nor have I ever heard of "the lost boys". Meh
If you knew Bill S. Preston, Esq. how did you NOT know The Lost Boys? Focus: Lucas. It was a great movie - if you haven't seen it (and this topic is making me feel old, so I know there are lots of folks who haven't seen it) you must. I had Corey H. pictures up everywhere. I am surprised Corey F. made it out of his early 20's. Even though I knew you were a mess, I still expected better of you, Corey.
Let me add some perspective. Netdata is feeling what you would feel if Robert Pattison died. See how bad that would make you feel. Be more compassionate dammit.
This really cracks me up. When MJ died, the RMMB had a thread bigger than Tucker's ego talking about how that pedo-freak affected their lives. Ted Kennedy dies, and it was never even mentioned on the board. Which one really had the bigger effect on your life? Now, look at your paycheck stub and ask the same question. Alt-focus: I don't wish death on anyone, but there are a lot of celebs who's 15 minutes have expired. Andy Dick comes to mind.
Hey Fucker, it's at home not here. How can all of you not have ever heard of The Lost Boys! HOW? *longsigh* Excuse me I have to go rat my bangs out and douse them with Aqua Net, put my legwarmers on over my jeans (of course) and dig out my big old belt all while watching St. Elmos Fire. I suppose you little shits have never heard of that either, right?
Lost Boys? When did Micheal Jordan die? Who the hell is Ted Kennedy? "It's cold in here and I don't know what time it is."
The true tragedy is that this exceptional saxophone player will never grace the silver screen with his presence again I STILL BELIEVE!!!!!
Molly Ringwald doesn't have hers yet and neither do I*. Suck it Frebis. *She is older than I am, thank god.
For the record, the hot wife dumped Feldman about 6 months ago. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.dlisted.com/node/34557?page=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dlisted.com/node/34557?page=1</a> RIP Haim. You were my favorite Corey.
