    That is very cool!

It's also interesting to see something being reported about a non-US space agency... most people probably didn't even know that European Mars mission was even a thing.

Wow. That’s some unprecedented stuff if true.

I have this funny fantasy about us finding alien microorganisms in our lifetime, capturing them for study then finding out..... they’re the EXACT same creatures we have here on earth.

Not sure if any of you are interested in the Parker Solar Probe... but Dustin has put up a few really, REALLY interesting engineering type interviews on his 2nd channel. The second one was pretty fucking educational and my personal favourite... made me sad that I didn't even know such a career path existed when I was a kid.

I dont understand, it wont be for centuries to come. Some lunar colonist will probably find it at some point. If they want it preserved indefinitely, why not just shoot it in a random direction in space?

Because, then you'd have less justification for spending $25k to send a 1" by 2" box to the moon?
"Dang, did I save my receipt?"

Repaired a hole in a spaceship.... with glue. Is Soyuz the Russian word for “Ron Popiel”?

Not what you’d call a rocket scientist.

So SpaceX will be flying the first ever tourist to the Moon. Hes some Asian billionaire, but if I could think of anything worth spending the money on, that would probably be it.

Yeah, that looks pretty cool. Lots of unknowns around the BFR (Big Fucking Rocket) so far, but the way SpaceX is going, I'm pretty optimistic they'll figure it out.

I wonder if it's just going to be him, or if there will be other passengers? Flight attendants?

It'd be cool if he did the same kind of thing that Chris Hadfield did with his Arctic Expedition.

He brought along a number of artists (musicians, artists, photographers, videographers, etc) to provide inspiration for their work.

The orbit they’re using pretty well guarantees it.

It's pretty cool that technology (and Space X) has come so far that getting back from an orbit around the moon is just as likely as coming back from running an errand.
