We don’t have millions of sunglasses wearing, rosacea-swollen fucktards for him to have a cult form around. Carney is a banker and that’s why Canada wanted him— he knows how to get countries out of a crisis.
Recent polling has shown that the online screamers represent about 5% of Canada. The cast majority of Canadians are quiet and fully supportive of the great work that Carney is doing on global stage. Pollivere is a fucking idiot who has zero clue how to fix the problems we have, and is only saying "no, what he's doing is wrong", rather than have an actual plan or experience to execute on it.
I really wonder how accurate polling is in the USA. It seems that the big pollsters rely on phone calls.
I think we’ve seen over the last several elections that it is wildly inaccurate at best. I only trust polls that have very specific questions, a large sample size, and explain their methods. Which virtually none of them do.
Polling isn't actually that bad in the US. They had that big miss in 2016 (and even that wasn't as bad as it looked, because the Comey letter really shifted things in the last few days, which the polling caught but wasn't communicated to most people in that short window) but since then they've adjusted. What's really dogshit is the punditry that makes all these grand conclusions from the polling data, which then gets falsely attributed to the polls themselves.
No, I think that as we all saw in 2024, most polling is pure bullshit. They call people whom they think are likely to give them the answers they want, and then they ask oddly worded questions that either ensure the answer they want, or they ask a question with two possible answers (neither of might be correct for you), in hopes that you pick the answer they want. I answered a few poll calls in 2024, and I could tell by the questions that they were obviously pro-Republican.
Yeah, but Trump is an idiot, and probably assumes any leader with a majority would want grifting pointers.
You probably spend money on education and aren't as insanely religious as the US. Those uneducated overly religious clowns are destroying our country.
I am struggling with the narrative that a bunch of uneducated, religious clowns are ruining shit, because...well, they can't be both idiots and insidious with this degree of success. The actors who are pushing their whackiest ideas to the forefront of our society, silencing those among them who preach tolerance and temperance, and hijacking religious ideals and zeal to smuggle in things that dismantle our social structure are billionaires, not believers. They are victims whose ideologies and belief systems have been infiltrated and abused. The people pushing the message that somehow an invisible savior will make it all balance when you're dead, allowing them to rob, rape, and murder are the issue. Guillotines for the 1%, not the pious.
Wiping out Israel would be a great start, not only would it upend the situation but literally nothing of value would be lost.
That’s because these people aren’t one and the same. The idiot clowns are the public facing part of it - but the people behind the scenes manipulating the clowns are insidious, intelligent and evil - Stephen Miller, Peter Thiel etc.
The rich are 100% the main villains here as they are manipulating the shit out of the common people. But, if we had similar religiosity as pretty much the rest of the developed world their bullshit propaganda wouldn't work anywhere near the level as it does now.
That's just antisemitic bullshit. Like the idiotic Muslim zealots would stop being a complete cancer everywhere.
That’s a pretty bullshit thought. While I’m all for stopping the financial aid to them, and penalizing their shitty acts, suggesting genocide is fucked up.
Been a while since I was in that industry. We didn’t do opinion polling but our biggest clients was a polling company that has a big footprint. The big push at the time was to switch to text to pre qualify ie the demographics the researchers were looking for, and if they fit call and finish the questionnaire. Most companies had moved to multi medium strategies because younger generations were less likely to drop out. The biggest problem is that opinion polling is it is treated like an ongoing panel. Once they get enough respondents willing to answer they just ask them on an ongoing basis instead of finding new respondents. Why I think you hear the constant refrain “I never get called.” If you aren’t on recruiters radar you aren’t getting a call. As long as the demographics have a good mix they don’t care. For us our owners were just too cheap to pay for recruitment outreach for our database. Our biggest client started complaining we’d give them the same 100 or so respondents for all their market research studies. Shit I am 41 I’ve still never been called for jury duty.
