That’s their dumbass “opening night” game. The only other things Netflix does is the home run derby and the Field Of Dreams game (which I do think is cool) returning later this year. Blue Jays pitching had 50 strikeouts over the first three games. Pretty impressive way to start the season. Or the As suck. Probably a little of both.
The A's are all trying to swing for the fences and did not show much bat control. That sweep though was caused by the pool pitching the A's have and will be the reason they are below 500 for like the fifth season in a row. Poor ownership is never fixable.
They have young guys that can become big stars. They have the best uniforms in the MLB, they HAD some of the best fans. With a cheapskate billionaire owner who kept them in a shit stadium and forced them out. Fuck Fisher. They’re already getting booed by the Mets fans. Their fans kill me. This “Fall Classic or bust” attitude a lot of them seem have when they haven’t won it in exactly forty years…. LOL indeed. It’s insane, on paper you have this great team with bottomless cash and they just keep shitting the bed.
