https://www.cbc.ca/radio/asithappens/saturn-moon-king-1.7483266 Saturn solidifies its title as moon king with the discovery of 128 new moons The findings bring Saturn’s grand total of moons to 274 — more than all the other planets combined
When I was a kid, Saturn had 22 moons and Jupiter had around a dozen. I can see four of Jupiter’s moons with my backyard telescope. 274 is crazy. With Saturn’s insane gravity and orbit rate too- a full day there only lasts eleven hours, even at its size.
I can’t believe we’re sending humans back to the fucking moon, and the only place I’ve heard about it in the past day is here.
Welcome to the shitty Mainstream Media. There's no outrage in Artemis so no eyeballs so no marketing money. I imagine they'll do a quick 2 min news break either as it happens or afterwards.
I’ll find the feed and put it on. My son is big into rockets right now. But I don’t think NASA is gonna say “four-six-blastoff” like he does
