Right, that was my original question about the whole school thing. My favorite comment from that whole original ordeal was in response to him talking about wanting to implement the Waldorf teaching style or something and someone posted "So you're gonna teach your kids how to make a shitty grape salad?".
Maddox is such a tool. He was back in the early 00s when internet edgelord humor was him, eBaumsWorld and SomethingAwful. When he started showing in person on videos and shit, you quickly realize he's an abject loser. He got into a massive legal battle with his podcast partner and now he just calls people names on Twitter. Insane that out of all of the irreverent Internet humor, the Cum Town hosts ended up doing the best. Well, 2/3 of them anyway.
I found the board when I was like 16 and waited patiently until I turned 18 to post pictures of my ass for internet validation. Now my drama revolves around my insane children, my broken house, and my feelings of doom about the state of the world. Wooo!
I can't be the only one that left the RMMB for Freak Safari for a while, well before the RMMB shut down and this was started. I was invited by Aquaholic, and I had backed off posting on the RMMB because of the way it was going. It was fun over there, brief as it was. I'm pretty certain that's where @Aetius told the guy to cook and eat the dead cat the dude found in his date's freezer. It was there or here, but I'm pretty sure it was there.
I will admit that in the beginning when the internet edgelord humour thing started I found some of his shit very funny, because it was new. But then I found Phat Phree and those people were WAY funnier and never bragged about themselves, never stalked women, never sued people and friends for hundreds of millions of dollars, etc. Maddox is the poster boy for “don’t meet your heroes”.
Sorry, I missed you saying that earlier. I see him heading towards a possible Unabomber-like lifestyle sooner or later if he kept doing what he was doing. His children will end up with personalities and an education similar to that of Johan from “Monster” and eventually and quite possibly end up in a shootout with the police at his house/school/compound.
I remember loving his blog. Once podcast and youtube took off reading blogs was for faggots and I moved on. I tried watching some of the video post he started doing and it just wasn't good. I got his book too and his blog post writing style did not translate to that medium either. I never hear about his later internet drama.
He partnered and had a podcast with Dick Masterson who wrote “Men Are Better Than Women”— the book which was the hardest an edgelord got to go in the paint— plus their token female for them to chime off on called (if I remember correctly) “80’s Girl”. Maddox e-stalked her so pathetically that people threw stand-up comedy shows where people would just go on stage and read his letters to her. It’s saaaaaaaaaaaad. Plus he’s throw a ridiculous amount of nine-figure lawsuits and random people who trash him online, his friends, and his co-workers. He’s mentally ill.
