Is the DOGE hotline still working? I feel like if we can't use it for all this wasted time and effort on the tariff bullshit, then what can we use it for?
The irony of his tariff bullshit is that there's about 20 other tools he could use to have the exact impact as tariffs, that aren't tariffs, that are well within his Constitutional authority. But because he doesn't know anything about economics, so he doesn't know those tools actually exist. I'm definitely guilty of this.
Unfortunately ICE is now coming to my backyard. They’ve purchased a warehouse in the next town over, maybe 3 miles from my house, to use as a concentration camp. In addition to the overall insanity and illegality of this, I get to find out that even more of my friends, neighbors and relatives are really, really shitty people who think this is simply splendid. Have I mentioned how much I fucking hate people?
We'll see how splendid they think it is if they get their wish, every last undocumented immigrant is removed, and iceberg lettuce is suddenly $8 a head. If you can get it. People here ( Upstate NY ) don't understand how dependent agriculture is on the very people they want rounded up and deported.
Far-and-away the most unintentionally funniest and retarded attempt at soft diplomacy I've ever seen. Why can't his dementia be like Biden's?
What makes it even better is that USNS Mercy and USNS Comfort are both undergoing scheduled maintenance in Alabama. Mercy is fully in dry dock. So they're trying to retrofit some Louisiana riverboat instead, which is why Trump mentioned Landry.
Well for one thing, he has surrounded himself with a mostly incompetent group of sycophants. Rubio can't run everything by himself.
Meanwhile ABC News reported last night that one of our nuclear subs had to have a sailor medevaced for a medical emergency. Guess who assisted?
They're a gaggle of retards. They just toe his line for a zero-sum victory. The new tariff policy is a good example. The law he's using for 15% is from when there were severe global liquidity issues in the 70s, partially caused the gold standard and fixed interest rates. (Money supply outpaced economic growth, and the world's supply of gold didn't support it.)
I realize there isn't likely any ship going to Greenland. Yet I have been consumed trying figure what ship they picked. Not even the Mercy or Comfort are suited for that mission. https://gcaptain.com/too-much-ice-a...ing-a-u-s-hospital-ship-mission-to-greenland/ I would love to see what ship they were thinking of sending and when it would get there. It's a sort of morbid curiosity, because I genuinely do not believe anything sitting on gulf coast could make the trip. Ice capable ships do not berth or get refit in the Gulf of Mexico. That area, particularly the latitude 50-60 just south of Greenland, is the most vicious area in the North Atlantic. There are no scarier looking wind roses than those south of Greenland in February, shown below, or March. Then the gale frequency is also terrifying, this time of year. The crew of the Mercy and Comfort better be glad they're in for repairs, or that idiot might have actually ordered them to go where those ships were not designed and built to go. They dodged one hell of a bullet. March looks better, but only by a tiny bit. Apologies for geeking out over pilot charts and imaginary hospital ships in Louisiana. Y'all know I gots to talk about boats
All good dude... it's not like Blue Dog is around to gloat about his free boat. You're the best we have left. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
