My Mini Cooper got rear ended and the losers ran, didn't stop, and dash cam didn't get a license plate. I hate people, by default, especially today. For real, this makes me want to set people on fire, and I just better not go anywhere else today. I don't think I can handle another dipshit without getting violent.

It's not bad, just a dent in the rear door, but it's the principle of the matter. Because of some fucking loser, I have a dent in my car that was in really good shape for its age.

I thought about chasing them, then I remembered how badly that can go, if they're desperate enough.

Going through the same as you are GTE. My son came down from Weaverville on Wednesday and I swear he and his girlfriend could not wait to get out of the Central Valley and back to the Trinity Alps. I read the weather that this is supposed to break this afternoon and let in some sun. I am doubtful.

We have had a lot of gray skies and rain lately, but random days or periods of time will be blue skies and sunny until the next low clouds move in. I haven't been feeling down at all and we only have another 20days before the days begin to lengthen. I think I did it, guys. I am learning to thrive in the north!

Everyone can crap on New Jersey all they want, but the weather here has no long stretches of shittiness, and we get all 4 seasons.

Yup. Same thing for us. This is an from the Summer of 2020.

" The rain only stopped for one day this August in Prince Rupert, B.C., as the North Coast city experienced record-breaking rainfall this summer.

Dubbed the wettest city in the province, the northern community lived up to its reputation in June, July and August when a third of its average annual rainfall fell during those three months.

According to Environment Canada, a total of 800 mm(31.5") of the wet stuff pelted Prince Rupert in that time period, making it the rainiest summer for the region in over 100 years. "

I think we’ve gotten more snow in the past week than we did all last winter. And one advantage of working even on the periphery of education is snow days like today.

I was already awakened so I got up and shoveled the walk, cleared my wife’s car so she could get to work.

Now I’ve got nothing else to do but watch it come down and then fire up the snowblower when it’s done.

I was late to a physical therapy appointment barely getting out of my neighborhood yesterday morning. I was stuck in a dip in the road and tried calling the office to see if they were even open. I got a call center in the Philippines who couldn’t answer for the specific office. Once I was on the main roads it was fine. Was only 8 minutes late (4 of which were me leaving late). Harrowing 4 minutes gunning it in the dark with people trying to pass the opposite direction. I hate the winter.

Check out Au Pied de Cochon and Maison Boulud if you haven't had a chance already. My wife and I ate at both places when we visited and loved them.

For drinks check out Bar Bello (especially if you like Negronis). We didn't get a chance to hit up Cloakroom, but have heard nothing but good things.

Already done that. They were both fantastic.

Went to Fleur et Cadeaux last night and did the "chef's choice tasting menu" and it was amazing.

We went out drinking so hard last night that my friend texted me this morning: "The Wife says I smell like a hobo."

    Achievement Unlocked.

Nice! We'll have to add that one to the list for when we go back. We truly fell in love with Montreal and try to find reasons to go back when we can. Doesn't work out the best, but given it is such a short flight from Chicago, we've being aiming to make it a quick getaway kinda place for us.

Better to be told you smell like a hobo, than to be told you smell like a hobo's dick

Turns out the speakeasy we got hammered at last night was the Cloakroom.

    Great place, killer drinks.
